The Zen Cart shopping cart software platform is upgraded periodically with newer and more powerful features, security fixes and increased compatibility. Zen Cart versions 1.5X are very different from prior 1.2X and 1.3X versions in design, security and features.

Performing a Zen Cart software upgrade is very much like building a new shop, with the exception of your design / logo / header, etc. The software has to be reinstalled, the database upgraded, the old template design files updated to 1.5.X and more.

When your Zen Cart shopping cart is upgraded, so are the modifications/addons that you or other developers have installed. Many, if not most will no longer function without up-gradation. This package is for a Zen Cart upgrade of a 1.2X or 1.3X Zen Cart without any addons/mods installed. If your has Zen Cart mods installed, these additional software upgrades will be performed at an additional cost. We would ask that you provide both a list and access to verify your installed modules before you purchase your upgrade, so that we may firmly quote the additional upgrade cost upfront to avoid surprises.
