This is likely to be true, as the hack that began around this past week (July 28th) has a very prominent symptom of the create account form being blank. This breach is a very serious vulnerability and should be acted on immediately. If you need help or a set of eyes to determine if your Zen Cart has been hack, please feel free to contact us and we are happy to advise you as we can.
