Accessibility is the web design practice of making websites usable by disabled users, specifically blind or visually challenged people. Additionally, because search engine crawlers are essentially blind (ie they can't see pictures or use Flash) well designed accessible websites tend to have better search engine result rankings than inaccessible sites.
