Bounce rate is simply the percentage of single page visits or visits when the visitor left your site from the entrance/beginning (landing) page. This metric is most commonly used to measure visit quality. For example a high bounce rate will generally indicate that a site's entrance pages aren’t relevant our usable enough for your visitors. The more compelling and engaging your landing pages, the more visitors will stay longer on your site and be far more likely to convert. You can help to minimize high bounce rates by designing content specific landing pages for each keyword and ad landing on or have an strong organic stream on. Landing pages should ideally provide the information and services that were promised in the ad copy or search query.
