Java is an object oriented computer programming language invented by Sun Microsystems. Java is universally designed to run on any type of computer hardware/server through an intermediary operational layer called a virtual machine. The Virtual Machine protocol translates the Java instructions/code into readable and executable code for the particular computer running the script.
