    This numerical address is used by the Internet Protocol to identify each and every computer on the Internet. It is most commonly made up of 4 sets of numbers between 0 and 255 each separated by a period e.g. 155.132.1.12. These addresses are issued by a central body InterNIC.

    DNS if the abbreviated term for Domain Name Server which translates or resolves IP addresses into domain names. So your domain name needs to be properly associated or linked to the the IP (Internet Protocol) address of the server you are hosting on.
