noindex is a robots Meta tag command located in either the <head> section of a web page or within individual link code (Not commonly supported), which instructs the search engine robots to not index the page or content.

A Search Engine Spider is a program which performs a task more or less autonomously, through a computer program. Search engines use spiders to find and add web pages to their search indexes. Spiders are also commonly referred to as Bots, Crawlers and Robots.
