While I am not huge Microsoft fan, I have come to accept the web design frustrations that Microsoft has dealt us with relationship to Internet Explorer. While I accept these IE display issues and use IE hacks and stylesheets to solve them daily, Microsoft has always maintained that they are correct and of course FireFox, Chrome and Opera for example are wrong…. Hmmm.
This is a pretty vague patent application, in my opinion, and I really think that mining data in this way should not be legal, nor approved. Fact is, the means in which this is presented is very combative, and identifies SEOs as the cause of link spam. It’s like saying lawyers are the reason for lawsuits, or dentists the reason for cavities.
The new Microsoft Search engine Bing has been creating quite a buzz on the web. For Analytics (used by millions of websites) is not currently including Bing in the “Search Engine” specific traffic stats.
